Tulsa Maker Faire
Our team showcased our t-shirt cannon and competition robot from the 2022-2023 season. Additionally, we brought snap circuits and allowed kids to play with them, drive the competition robot from last year, throw cubes into it, and catch them. We demonstrated how our t-shirt cannon works and shared our plans for it. We also taught kids about electricity. Our goal was to help people see the fun and engaging side of STEM through hands-on interaction.

Mentoring Rookie Team, 7744 the Wild CardsIn 2019 we mentored team 7744 from a rural school in Oklahoma. With no lab or workspace to use and an underfunded budget, we opened our doors to them and helped them build their robot, establish a business and outreach team, create a business plan, kickstart a safety program, and helped them with team spirit. They even became alliance 8 captains at the OKC regional. We love our wild cards!
